Decisions made concerning delayed starts and school closures due to weather are made only after careful consideration of all factors and after receiving feedback from numerous weather, transportation and safety sources. Such decisions are always made with the safety of students and staff being of the highest priority. However, as parents and guardians of your children, you ultimately have the final decision as to what is best for their safety. The option to keep children home when weather conditions are extreme is always at the parents' discretion and schools understand and respect those decisions. While students will be excused from school, it will be their responsibility to make-up any and all work missed during their weather-related absences.
