Superintendent of Schools


The Pueblo City Schools Superintendent of Schools, reports to the Board of Education and provides administrative leadership to a public school district of over 2,400 employees and nearly 18,000 students. 

The superintendent is primarily responsible for administering the policies of the Board of Education. The superintendent's responsibilities include overseeing a strategic plan, managing a budget of more than $200 million, driving a comprehensive curriculum to international standards, building and strengthening relationships with parents and a community of more than 100,000 and representing the school district as the primary spokesperson.
