Nutrition services will resume with the start of school on Aug. 31

The Pueblo School District 60 grab-and-go Summer Lunch Program will end on Friday, July 31.

Nutrition services will resume with the start of school on Monday, Aug. 31, at every District 60 school.

Additionally, upon the re-opening of school on Aug. 31, meal accommodations will be made for students who opt for distance learning this Fall.

When school resumes, nutrition services will continue at D60 schools, following appropriate health guidelines which are outlined in D60's Return to School Plan. Breakfast will continue to be served in classrooms each morning, and lunch meals include daily choice of hot entree, fruits, and vegetables which accommodate special diets and protect student civil rights. Nutrition service workers have participated in additional training on health monitoring, mask utilization, hand washing, kitchen sanitization, and food safety in preparation for the return of students.
